By Miz Barbie:
The night has fallen, and the shadows slowly unveil
with the hint of light.
Oh how beautiful the skies lurk, with its starry
presence so bright.
I make a wish staring through the glass, with a
smile that fits just right.
So chilled a breeze, fills my face, as I gently inhale
the sweet scent of night.
Flipping pages, my heart wanders and yearns, to
create a story out of a picture,
as the words come flowing through the Maldives,
with the Sun Island’s adventure.
Then I feel the spark, so electrifying, flowing
through my hearts enclosure,
whispering softly, the melodious words of poetry,
that lurks in my lips gesture.
Rare like a unicorn, come such inspirations that
capture the minds inner eyes.
With its beauty so poetic, like the passing time of
Maya Angelou’s rhymes,
which flows from deep within the plethora of the
soul, sketching life’s timelines.
There I lived to write the sound of my heartbeat,
truly captivating like magical fireflies.
This poem is dedicated to my family, Bunny
boy and Late Maya Angelou.
