Wisdom-Keys 1! You are not a back-up plan. You are worth more than someone’s second choice. You can’t force yourself to stop loving someone, but you can tell yourself that you deserve better. You have the power to insist on good and real things for yourself. Wisdom-Keys 5! You deserve a day where worries don’t get in the way of anything. A day where even if some people are insensitive or unkind, you’re not going to mind because the blessings in your life are far greater than the burdens that people are trying to place on you. Remember stay positive!

A very poor man lived with his wife. One day, his wife, who had long hair asked him to buy her a comb for her hair to grow well.

The man felt very sorry and said no, he does not even have enough money to fix the strap of his watch he had just broken.

She did not insist on her request.

The man went to work and passed by a watch shop, sold his damaged watch at a low price and went to buy a comb for his wife.

He came home in the evening with the comb in his hand ready to give to his wife.

He was surprised when he saw his wife with a very short hair cut.

She had sold her hair to a Brazilian manufacturer and was holding a new watchband.

Tears flowed simultaneously from their eyes.

not for the futility of their actions, ”but for the reciprocity of their love.

                                                             
A stressed man was in his office thinking
deeply. Suddenly a man ran inside shouting,
“Peter!! Peter….!!! Peter!! Your daughter Tonia
just had an accident and died.”
Shocked and confused, he jumps out of the
office window. As soon as he jumped, he
remembered his office is on the 7th floor, as
he descends lower he remembered that he
doesn’t have a daughter called Tonia. Still
descending he remembered he is not even
married. Just two floors before he hits the
ground, he remembered that his name is not
even Peter……
Luckily, he wasn’t injured because he fell on
top of the lorry carrying mattress.

MORAL LESSON:
stop thinking too much, try and live a stress
free life.
Pray everyday and God will help you
overcome stress

 

It is expedient for us to know and understand what Jesus says on this issue we are about to consider Prayer. He himself know the importance of it, that is why before taking any drastic step, he would go to the father in prayer, seeking to know what the fathers view and opinion on that particular matter before adventuring into it. Take for instance before starting his ministry the scripture explains to us on how he went into the wilderness to fast and pray and seek the face of God  “And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights he was afterwards hungry” (Matthew 4:2). Now this was just before the beginning of his eternal (assignment on the earth and he could not just go into it because he was God, but because he is our perfect example which is one of the basic reasons why he came to the world, he had to go to the one who sent him and report to him that father the purpose why, I am on earth is about to began but I cannot on my own do so, I need you at all points.

His Disciples: “And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray and continued all night in prayer to God”. And when it was day, he called unto him his disciple: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostle”. It is obviously clear that our master Jesus would not do anything except he first prays and common with his fther on that matter he do not see prayer as secondary issue, but the ultimate in all he did. The Bible made mention of how very early in the morning he would depart from his disciples and go to a mountain top and pray, it also show how after every great meeting and victory Jesus will send the people away and his disciples to the next village while he stays back to common with God for the success of the previous meeting and also commit the next programme in to his hands. But it is quite unfortunate that we now live in times, were so many Christian no longer pray, some don’t even have a family alter so when they wake up from bed, one jumps to the kitchen while the other to the bathroom and the children move strait to the television, and before you know the parents are off to work and the children to school and when they return anybody feels tired and moves to bed and so on. While some homes will only have prayers when there is a recurrence of bad dreams (night mere). Friends, that is not how Jesus taught us, scriptures made it plain that every morning Jesus would be sought for by his disciples, that at a point it got used to them because at certain occasion he doesn’t just go alone, he would take some of them with him, so when they don’t see him in the morning, they now know were to find him. Jesus prayed everywhere, one day he was on his way to a particular place, and while on the way with his disciples, he was hungry and he turned and looked at the Fig tree to see if he could get some food to eat, but could find none, and before his disciples knows what was happening, he coursed the tree, and it wither on their way back. What would you call that? Is it not prayer and if it is not what was it then? There are allots of arguments of where to pray and where not, but if we look at the scripture and see Jesus as our perfect example, we would drop all this argument because he actually prayed everywhere he went. The other day He entered into the synague and found a man with a leprous hands, and the bible says that the Pharisees watch to see if he would heal him but quest what he did, he prayed for the man, and that was it, in so many other incident on how (Jesus) prayed publicly for healing and other reason that we cannot number right now.

The Christian with prayer, we were told that when a baby is born, as soon as the child comes out it will cry, and if he/she does not, the nurse most palm the baby in order for him or her to cry, open up the lungs, if you are truly born again you will cry (pray) because there will be this deep hunger in your heart to cry. Also every child doe excise which is necessary in order to keep him or her fit, now you see when the mother is will bathing the child, she will stretch him/her, and in other times, the child alone stretches itself that is exercise. But our exercise as born again Christians is prayer, a child of God who does not pray is a spiritually dead person unknowingly or knowingly to him or her, the devil can play fool of such one, and such believer cannot go far in the Kingdom. No matter what you do in the house of God, He needs you to commune with him before any other service you render in his name which is directed to man in one way or the other.

“Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18). A life of prayer is a life on fire and nothing can trample upon such a life, though the enemy may try but will always fail at all cost. Do you remember on how one day the apostles were praying in the upper room and the Holy Ghost came upon them in divers tongues of fire, and descended upon them. “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound form heaven as if a rushing might wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them separate tongues like as of fire, and it sad upon each of them” (Act 2 vs 1-3). It’s obvious that even the list child knows that no one tours with fire because it shows no mercy to the offenders at all. Daniel understand this that was why when the law was enacted because of him, that no one should pray to other God except the golden image which the king has made, he spear not his life because he knew that no body dear touch fire and remain the same and not be burnt. Daniel 6:1-28. The reason why the world is not afraid of the church is because there is no fire burning in the church, and the reason why an occult man can try you and go free is because he sees no fire burning in you, if not he dare not come close because it has no friend, the church must arise which is you and I and get ourselves ablaze for God and for our world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Every child of God has some lands (Territory’s and
boundaries to occupy and take over in order for him or her to be seen and called a triumphant child
of God. The scripture made it clear that says “I have given the land to you, which flows with milk and honey” go and possess it”.
Friend in the Old Testament when God talk of given His people a land it was in did a land but there are other things found in this land such
as, vegetables, grapes and other useful plants, water (streams)
and all that it
takes to make life enjoyable were provided. Also now to the
New Testament
church scripture made it clear that “Says bless be God who
has bless us
with spiritual and things that pertain to live and godliness”.
Yes God has
given us everything but there is a work to do or carryout in
other to
attain them.
Friend I don’t want us to forget the fact that as God said to
the children
of Israel I have given you the land take it (possess it). He also
said
fight for it. But to us we don’t need to fight a physical
battle but a
spiritual one “it is written “fight a good fight of faith. It
means the New
Testament church has a battle that awaits her which
means that we have an
enemy called the devil and his agents. For we wrestle not
against flesh and
blood but against principalities and powers, against rulers of
darkness of
this world against spiritual wickedness in high places. Now
anytime we
talks about these forces especially the devil, the first issue
that come to
our minds are, causes of accident, sickness, death, miss-
carriages and
other things, but I want to share some very important
matters with us. The
first land that we will consider is the battle of the mind
“faith” which
also directly point to the soul. The greatest fight every child
of God has
ever faced and will ever face is the fight against your faith
in the word
of God, because the enemy knows that as long as you study
God word and
believes in it and put it to practice he is useless and
powerless to you,
that is why one of the hardest thing to do as Christians is
to take the
bible and sit down to study, notice I did not say read the
bible but study
and studding takes time and energy but it is worth doing, the
word of God
is the shield of faith “Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith
you maybe able to stand against the fiery darts of the
wicked. “Ephesians
6:13). Because the devil knows that anyone who walk with
the word of God
will quench is fiery dart and what are this fiery dart, there
are,
unbelief, fear, doubt, stagnation and all that the enemy does
to break our
relationship with God, and bring us into eternal jeopardy
maybe you have
been believing the Lord for the fruit of the womb, trusting
God for job,
and for a major breakthrough, and it has not come to
actualization and you
may have been praying, fasting and doing all manner of night
vigil, sow
seeds of all kinds but nothing has change and you seem to
give up on God,
so your trust for God is going down but I have a word for
you, that you may
have given up on God but He has not given up on you on that
issues, that
expectation, not to talk of God given up on you because you
are so precious
in His sight. For the scripture says you are wonderfully,
beautifully made,
you belong to God, you are the apple of his eyes. In another
place David
the king wrote “we where like them that dream when the
Lord turned again
our captivities and our mouths were filled with lighter, then
say their
among the heathen the Lord has done great things for them.
You may say this
brother do not understand what I am going through and how
long I have
trusted the Lord, I earlier said that maybe you have given up
on God, but
it could be that you have also lost confidence on yourself
and believe the
reports of men concerning you “scripture made it clear, who
shall believe
our report, to whom is the arm of the Lord revile. What does
the arm of the
Lord means? It means the strength, power, spirit, just to
mention a few,
above all, it means the world of God concerning you, so, do
you believe the
word of God nor your challenges, problems and
circumstances, beloved let me
say at this point that “anyone who look at his or her
challenges, will be
drawn by it, it is written “And they saw a man walking
toward them upon the
water and they were afraid but Peter look, the disciples one
day were ask
by the master (Jesus) to go over to the other side and wait
for him, on
their way they encountered a storm and a boisterous wave,
which in our
contemporary time represent, challenges of all kind, Mathew.
And straight
way Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and
go before him
unto the other side, while He sent the multitude away. And
when he had sent
the multitude away, he went up into a mountain apart to
pray and when the
evening was come, he was there alone.
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with
waves, for the
wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night
Jesus went unto
them, walking on the sea.
And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they
were trouble,
saying, it is a spirit, and they cried out for fear. But straight
way Jesus
speak unto them, saying be of good cheer, it is I; be not
afraid. And Peter
answered him and said. Lord if it be you, bid me come unto
thee on the
water. And he said, come and when Peter was come down
out of the ship he
walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the
wind boisterous he
was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried saying Lord save
me; and
immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him,
and said unto
him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And
when they
where come into the ship the wind ceased. Now remember
Peter began to sink
as a result that he took his eyes away from the Master, but
as soon as he
looked back to him, he received assistance, friend if you can
only keep on
looking on the Master (Jesus) very soon you will sing a song
of
victory.

And wept and toiled and mourned and died
For love of those who loved him not.

The cruel nails and crown of thorns,
And jesus crucified for me.
But even could i see him die,

It is most wonderful to know
His love for me so free and sure;
But it’s more wonderful to see
My love for him so faint and poor.
And yet i want to love thee, Lord!
O light the flame within my heart,
And i will love thee as thou art.

NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF

A man was caught and thrown into a pit of about “40 feet” deep, just because he was a stranger. He struggled trying to get out of the pit, but the more he tried, the weaker his muscles became. He said to himself, “I don’t know how to get myself out of this. Maybe I should just die instead of enduring these miserable struggles and pains.” Just then, he heard a voice screaming, “Help! Help!! Help!!!” The shouts were coming from another pit, which was “10 feet” deeper than the one he was in. He thought to himself, “Wow, so there is somebody else like me trapped here too.” Listening carefully, he heard some cracking and sand dropping from the wall of the pit of the other victim. Immediately he summed up his courage and with his last bit of strength, started crawling little by little until he made it out of his pit.
