REAL JOURNEY

When what to do you know not
When your strength sags
Your thoughts are clouded
Your visions become blurred

When the road is unknown
They way to choose a dilemma
The passing time glaring
And the ticking clock sounding

It may be the real time to work
The hidden milestone of your journey
The main road that is unknown
The real voice unheard in your baffled mind

It is the occupied mind
That is apt to move mountains
It is normally at crossroads
That we realize our real journey.

THE MESSAGE!

In those rare moments
It will spring up
Like a flower destined to bloom
Making its way through all obstacles
Not fearing the pest, nor doom

It comes with a sting of passion
At times you may not determine
Even in ways you don’t know
To offer help for us to grow

Listen to that message
That instills passion within you
Respond to its call
And unlock it from your heart
Try and try again even if you fail.

AWAY FROM THE CROWD

It is time for silence
Though the price is steep
And preference goes to sleep
It is a venture that is worthy

It never comes without desire
For the will has to be
And the difficulty to see
Its beauty willed

You will never know its beauty
Unless you really ask
To undergo the task
To step out of the crowd

It is so funny about life
Things that are best
Are always there and next
To you and within you.

LIMIT

I believed in sky’s limit
On watching birds fly
My belief was thrown aback
Watching the eagle fly

I trusted human laws
As authentic guard for all
Questioning my stand
On learning exception call

I believed in average lot
Since pass it always offers
But changed my views
Noticing the inhibition it proffers

I feel the minds power
And convinced indeed
For every diligent mind
Limits are extendable indeed

Words for Women!

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn’t want you, nothing can make him stay. Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior. Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache. Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship that’s not meant to be. Slower is better. Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy. If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can’t “be friends.” A friend wouldn’t mistreat a friend. Don’t settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is. Don’t stay because you think “it will get better.” You’ll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better. The only person you can control in a relationship is you. Avoid men who’ve got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women. He didn’t marry them when he got them pregnant, Why would he treat you any differently? Always have your own set of friends separate from his. Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something bothers you, speak up. Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later. You cannot change a man’s behavior. Change comes from within. Don’t EVER make him feel he is more important than you are…even if he has more education or in a better job. Do not make him into a quasi-god. He is a man, nothing more nothing less. Never let a man define who you are. Never borrow someone else’s man. Oh Lord! If he cheated with you, he’ll cheat on you. A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you. All men are NOT dogs. You should not be the one doing all the bending…compromise is a two-way street. You need time to heal between relationships…there is nothing cute about baggage… deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you…a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals…look for someone complimentary…not supplementary. Dating is fun…even if he doesn’t turn out to be Mr.. Right. Make him miss you sometimes…when a man always know where you are, and your always readily available to him- he takes it for granted. Don’t fully commit to a man who doesn’t give you everything that you need. Keep him in your radar but get to know others. Share this with others, You’ll make someone SMILE, another RETHINK her choices, and another woman PREPARE.

Sometimes In War.

We have sung of war in times of peace
And sang of peace in war times
Okweinkuku* tell them
Should they come again
“please leave us to live”

In the mangrove our paradise
In far distance
Beyond times unknown
When the forest moved her waist
I knew of the omuaru*
It was a caller of young men
Summon of heavy weaves, clouds
And winds to accompany the talking drums
The omuaru was an intimidating spirit
That chases our rivals
It was never a test tool
For brevity among us
It was an eloquent speaker
Flaming tree
In our forest to lie upon rivers

Sometimes in September
We have brought boxes of shattered love
And shared memories of betrayals
To let go the she goat to the market place
She bought with no money
Deaths upon the mangrove

At Christmas
The ikiriko* and agriba*
Ravaged the market places
The town square crowded
With jesters and plotters
Suddenly a familiar voice took over
Omangiyee*
Omangiyee… ya woo*

Sometimes the year gets pregnant
And a month was born
A January was born
A month of despond
A month of agony
A month of oblivion fate

Meanings:
1 Okweinkuku: (Derogatory word means, chatter box) 2. Omuaru: (warcanoe) 3. Ikiriko: (Native drum)
4. Agriba: (A cowhide drum used sometimes for local communication during festive periods)
5. Omangiyee, ya woo: (run you people, run you people, Alas.)

IS SEX A WORK OR PLAY???

A man wonders if having sex on the Sabbath day is a sin, because he is not sure if sex is work or play. So he asked a priest for his opinion on this troubling issue. The priest says after consulting the Bible,” My son, after an exhaustive search I am positive that sex is work and is not permitted on Sundays.” The man thinks and after much thinking, said in his mind; “What does a priest know of sex?” He goes to a minister, a married man, experienced, for the answer. He queries the minister and receives the same reply. Sex is work and not for the Sabbath! Not pleased with the reply, he seeks out the ultimate authority, a man of thousands of year’s tradition and knowledge. “A Rabbi,” the Rabbi ponders the question and states,” My son, sex is definitely a play. ” The man replies,” Rabbi, how can you be so sure when so many others tell me sex is work?” The Rabbi softly speaks, “If sex were work, my wife would have the maid do it!” So in other word sex is a play.

Strange but Real:

It was about eight o’clock when her son who was asthmatic developed some complications. He had to be rushed to the nearest hospital about 1km away or else it would be fatal. She called a neighbor who had a car but the neighbor said the car had no fuel; she called the pastor who said he had visiting pastors from USA and could not leave them alone. She decided to carry the son to the hospital; she could not imagine losing her only child to the same sickness that had killed the husband few years earlier. She had a problem with her leg and could not move faster. Along the way she met people rushing home from work who just stared at her. She tried to beg them for help but they ignored her. She also tried to stop passing vehicles but they didn’t responded. She had to keep moving, and then a man who was mad and used to roam the streets naked noticed her. He came running towards her and took the son from her. She could not talk but just pointed the direction of the hospital. The crazy naked man could understand perfectly well what she meant since he saw the desperate boy struggling for breath. He put him on the shoulder and told the woman “all will be well” as he ran towards the hospital. The doctor on seeing the crazy man knew something was really wrong; they attended to the boy immediately. Ten minutes later the mother arrived and the doctor broke the news “if he was brought five minutes later, he would have died”. God doesn’t have to use Bishop, Pastors, Politicians and rich people with cars to rescue or bless you. No matter what may come your way, no matter what you are going through, your life is in His hands and He has good thoughts for you. I know u will make it, for there’s a friend in God who will wipe away your tears. The word says for with God all things are possible. CALL ON GOD and HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN, He is always ON TIME.

“Men will never learn, women will never change”

A woman and a man were involved in a car accident. It’s a bad one, caused by the woman’s reckless driving. (No offense meant to anyone) Both of their cars were damaged beyond repairs but amazingly neither of them is hurt. After they crawled out of their cars, the woman says; “So, you’re a man. That’s interesting. I’m a woman. Wow, just look at our cars! There’s nothing left, but fortunately we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace for the rest of our days.” The man replied; “I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God! The woman continued; “And look at this, here’s another miracle. My car is completely damaged, but this bottle of wine didn’t break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune.” Then she hands the bottle to the man. The man nods his head in agreement, opens it, drinks half the bottle and then hands it back to the woman. The woman takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and hands it back to the man. The man asked; “Aren’t you having any?” She replies; “Nah. I think I’ll just wait for the cops to come and collect their evidence.
“Men will NEVER LEARN!!!
Women will NEVER CHANGE!!!”
